From the lanes of Varanasi to the villages of Ballia, Mangalya Seva Sanstha has spent a decade carrying a simple conviction — that dignity, learning and good health are not privileges, they are birthrights.
Founded in 2015 under the Societies Registration Act, our work is driven entirely by volunteers, well-wishers and partner schools who believe small consistent acts compound into lasting change.

When we registered Mangalya Seva Sanstha in 2015, we made ourselves a quiet promise: that we would not measure success in publicity or scale, but in continuity. In the child who returned to school. In the elderly hand that received warm food. In the family that slept through a winter night because someone remembered them.

Each year, as Kartik Purnima draws thousands of pilgrims to the banks of the Ganga, our volunteers set up a humble annakshetra under the peepal tree.

Intermediate College Bharauli, established in 1960, has shaped generations of students from rural Ballia. Our team's ongoing partnership with such heritage institutions includes books, supplies, mentor visits and digital learning support.
We don't replace what already works — we strengthen it. Quietly, consistently, in close coordination with school administrations who know their students best.
Our governing body, elected by members of the Sanstha, oversees programs, accountability and strategic direction. All positions are honorary.
We hold every certification an Indian non-profit needs to receive domestic donations, partner with corporates, and offer tax benefits to donors.
Our books are audited annually by an independent Chartered Accountant. Our latest renewal under the UP Societies Act is valid until 2030.
Every rupee donated to Mangalya is volunteer-handled. Our administrative overhead is kept to the bare minimum so that the bulk of your contribution reaches the field — as books, as blankets, as kheer.
